The official blog cleared up that Google only helped them (they are using Google Maps), and the real developers are Hasbro’s UK digital agency Tribal DDB. And it wasn’t Google only, the guys from OpenStreetMap also helped the team. Tribal DDB combined the two (Google Maps and OpenStreetMap) and created Monopoly City Streets.

Today is September 9th in most parts of the world already and I am sure that people are already hammering their F5 Keys to refresh the official website so they can buy their streets and start building their empire. But, no one is in yet (at least from the public) according to “Mr. Monopoly”. His watch shows that we should all relax and come back by 6:00pm UTC September 9th. For all those in the Asean Region, that is 2:00am ACT the 10th of September. For the rest, check here.
