While surfing and checking out other technologies, I remember one that was really cool 6 years ago, multiple monitors without the need for multiple video cards.
Today, I found matrox® TripleHead2Go™, building on the award-winning DualHead2Go technology. It is a palm-sized box that uniquely allows one to add two or even three monitors with a combined resolution of up to 3840×1024. And it works for gaming.
Follow up:
They call it Surround Gaming where three monitors are together showing a wider area of the virtual world a single monitor won’t be able to do (not even if it is a widescreen monitor).
