While reading new stories via Digg, I noticed the red word “new” in the lower block of the left menu besides the name Digg Labs. Sounds like Google Labs to me and I have an idea what it is, so I clicked.
Follow up:
I found, well, Digg Labs, and they have two cool and very fun application available – Digg Stuck and Digg Swarm
Digg Stuck as they explained:
Digg Stack shows diggs occuring in real time on up to 100 stories at once. Diggers fall from above and stack up on popular stories. Brightly colored stories have more diggs.
The visualization has three modes: all activity, popular, and newly submitted stories.
See it live here: Digg Stack
And Digg Swarm:
draws a circle for stories as they’re dugg. Diggers swarm around stories, and make them grow. Brightly colored stories have more diggs.
The visualization has three modes: all activity, popular, and newly submitted stories.

I like Digg Swarm most and I am having fun with it watching and looking for interesting stories. Now when will the other sites clone these two applications? Or better, when will they create something different that Digg hasn’t done yet?
Go enjoy it and read, coz knowledge is power!
