World of Starcraft?

Well GameSpot pulled their own April Fool’s Day joke entitled World of Starcraft.

Blizzard’s own, BurgerCraft and Wisps as the New Alliance Race also fooled thousands of people. Yep, they are the 2006 April Fools.

“World of Starcraft” is too obvious, they should’ve used “StarCraft Universe”. Or just pull a joke for “Diablo Online”, could there be something behind those two titles/names that they instead opted for “World of Starcraft”?

And the Wisps as the New Alliance Race is also obvious. Any World of Warcraft players who’ve been in the game since it’s alpha and beta tests know that Blizzard’s WoW Team pulled a similar “new playable race” April Fool’s Day joke, remember the Two-Headed Ogre, where two players will control one body? Not counting the fact that WoW-Korea already removed the “Wisps” details from their official website.
