I found an interesting new service called SocialMeter. What it provide is a ranking/scoring of a site’s social exposure by searching the different Social-Bookmarking Services or SBS.
As an example, I took a screenshot of the result for this blog using http://gameshogun.ws and the old link http://gameshogun.info.
Take a look:
Follow up:
for gameshogun.ws (new URL of gameshogun blog network)

for gameshogun.info (old URL of gameshogun blog network)

Try it out for yourself by visiting the official website - SocialMeter.

http://halohalo.com received a score of 7 compared to http://globalpauhana.org of 8. Halohalo.com is just getting started, with almost 300 members, while Globalpauhana has been around for a while more with close to 5,000 members.
Very interesting concept though.
Taking Digg as an example, if one of your readers put one of your article in Digg, that will be a "hit", gathering all these hits, SocialMeter then gives a corresponding score.
Personally, SocialMeter is more of how much a site is being 'bookmarked' and 'shared' via the SBS space, so it is still different when it comes to a site's 'PageRank'.
