Friendster ADs or FADs

My trial for Friendster ADs or FADs has ended (thanks to Friendster Philippines for a trial).
So here are my takes on the service..
Follow up:
First thing I noticed is this, I do not know how many times my FAD was clicked. I think this feature is important to determine how attractive and successful the AD was. The second feature that will be very interesting is if we can know which page they were viewing when the AD was (1) shown and (2) clicked. It doesn’t need to be a specific URL, just a simple “Shown in Profile Pages” or “Clicked on Profile Pages". This gives the person running an AD to know the frequency of his/her ADs appearance and clicks as well as give an idea as to how frequent an AD is being ‘noticed’ if a person is in this page compared to that page.
Overall, the data that is currently available is good. The number of times AD shown data is divided into Gender, Age Range, Civil Status, and Interested In. Maybe they could add more data like Schools, Organizations, and the other interesting details. And in the future, FADvertisers can specifically target their audience to the last bit of detail. Of course no one wants to spend their AD money to an audience who are unlikely to take notice or click one’s AD right?
I still think once FAD becomes a common think in the Philippine Friendster space, the advertisements in the Friendster message board will lessen. Good Luck to the FADs team, more power, God Bless, and hope to see new features (well that’s a sure thing anyway). Especially the awaited FAD access via our mobile phones.
