NEXON Co. Ltd. announced that they entered to an agreement with popular manga publisher Kodansha Ltd. to develop and publish games based on the Ghost in the Shell franchise. The games will be based on Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2^nd GIG, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series was adapted from Masamune Shirow’s famous manga series Ghost in the Shell. The universe was expanded in the Stand Alone Complex series which won several notable entry awards on the 2003 Tokyo International Anime Fair.

Since the original release of the manga in 1989, Ghost in the Shell has been adapted into theatrical anime movies and novels and has evolved into a wildly popular franchise and NEXON excited to create and service a worldwide Version with attractive concepts in diverse genres.
